After Dental Implant Surgery
Healing after implant placement is straightforward when post-operative instructions are followed. Care includes managing bleeding, swelling, diet, pain, and oral hygiene during the first 48 hours and beyond.
After Wisdom Tooth Removal
Recovery from wisdom tooth extraction is most intense in the first 3 days. Plan to take it easy for 48 to 72 hours, follow ice and pain management protocols, and protect the blood clot.
After Exposure of an Impacted Tooth
Surgical exposure of an impacted tooth, often a canine, is performed so that an orthodontist can guide the tooth into position. Avoid disturbing the wound and follow gentle hygiene during recovery.

After Tooth Extraction
Most extractions heal well within 7 to 10 days. Protecting the blood clot and following the medication and rinsing schedule is essential.
After Multiple Extractions
The aftercare for multiple extractions is similar to a single extraction, with extra emphasis on rest, hydration, and protein-rich soft foods. If an immediate denture has been placed, leave it in for the first 24 hours.
