A titanium implant acts as an artificial tooth root in your jawbone and supports a crown, bridge or denture. Crowns and bridges
Crowns protect cracked, weak or heavily filled teeth. Bridges replace a missing tooth by anchoring to the teeth beside the gap. Most crowns take two visits and we use digital scans instead of messy impression trays. See our crowns and bridges page.
Tooth-coloured fillings

How do you choose between tooth replacement options?
If you are missing teeth, the right option depends on how many teeth are missing, the health of the teeth next to the gap, your bone, your budget and your timeline. In general, an implant replaces a single tooth without touching the teeth beside it. A bridge can make sense when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns. A denture replaces a row of teeth or a full arch, and implants can be added later to hold it steady. Book a free consultation and we will walk through the options with your own X-rays and 3D scan.
Cost, insurance and payment plans
Our fees follow the Ontario Dental Association fee guide, and you get a written quote before treatment. Extended plans usually cover crowns, bridges and dentures at around 50 percent under major restorative, up to your annual maximum, and many cover fillings under basic services. We run a predetermination with your insurer so you know your coverage in writing first. CDCP covers eligible patients for fillings, and for standard complete and partial dentures. Crowns and bridges may be partially covered or need pre-authorization. We direct-bill Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield and CDCP, and offer 0% in-house payment plans with no third party.
Before Your Visit
- Bring your insurance or CDCP card, and any old X-rays or dental records you have.
- Write down what bothers you most: pain, a loose denture, a broken tooth, appearance or chewing.
- Tell us about medical conditions and medications.
- If you are nervous, ask about longer appointments or oral sedation.
After Your Treatment
- Wait until numbness wears off before eating, and avoid very hot food until then.
- Keep brushing and flossing, including around new crowns, bridges and implants.
- Follow the care instructions for your specific treatment. Each treatment page lists them.
- Keep your 6-month hygiene visits so we can check your restorations.
- Call us if a bite feels high, a temporary falls off, or pain does not settle.
