Dr. Azher Abbas
Dr. Azher Abbas received his Bachelor of Science from McMaster University and then went on to complete his Masters of Business Administration at the same school. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Arizona.
Dr. Abbas enjoys providing complete dental care for the whole family. He actively pursues continuing education and offers a variety of treatment options for his patients. Dr. Abbas enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and finds it rewarding to help others smile with confidence. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Ontario Dental Implant Network. Dr. Abbas strives to provide his patients with high quality, comprehensive oral care while building trusting, long term relationships with his patients.
Nancy Fernandes - Office Manager
Nancy began her dental career as a dental assistant, eleven years ago and switched to working as a dental receptionist in 2007. In 2010 she became the office manager where she uses all of her previous training to help the office run efficiently. She also holds a BA in English from the University of Goa, India.
Her pleasant and cheerful personality will make you feel welcome at all times and she will ensure that all your needs are met. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going for Zumba classes.
Danielle Walter - Hygienist
My name is Danielle. I have 24 years of experience in the dental field and has been practicing for 22 years as a clinical hygienist. I have since added to the scope of practice by becoming an orthodontic hygienist in 2005, studying with FORCE Dental and later with TRIPLE O for myofunctional orthodontics. I graduated from St. Clair College in Windsor in 1992 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene she also graduated from Fanshawe College in London from the Dental Assisting program. I also attended the University of Western Ontario in London for Science. Working in this field has allowed me to develop great relationships with her patients, peers and co-workers. The love for my profession shows every day in my smile!
Anita Peters - Assistant
My name is Anita, and I’m a certified dental assistant with over 17 years of experience. I have participated in several continuing education programs and I have general knowledge in all areas of dentistry. I enjoy interacting with patients and making sure that they are comfortable during the dental visit. I also enjoy reading, shopping and possess a friendly personality and compassion for others. I make a valuable addition as a member of the Brampton Smiles dental team.
